Landmark Arts Centre & Teddington Together set to stage music festival
The Landmark Arts Centre and community business organisation, Teddington Together, are partnering to hold a fundraising music festival on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May 2022.
Rockin’ the Lockin’ Live, is taking place at The Landmark and will feature a line-up of some of the area’s best music talent.
The festival is a spin-off event from the virtual Rockin’ the Lockin’ music concerts, devised by Teddington Together during the first lockdown in 2020, which raised over £6000 for local charities, including The Landmark, which was facing permanent closure at the time, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Lesley Bossine, Landmark’s centre manager, commented: “We were so grateful for the support of Teddington Together and the musicians in 2020 for raising over £2800 for the centre and we’re delighted to be partnering with them all again as a way of saying thank you for their huge contribution and to showcase the amazing musical talent
in the community.”
Rockin’ the Lockin’ Live will feature a wide range of musical genres from country and blues, rock and pop, classical and rap, there will also be local traders with pop-up food and drink stalls alongside artisan crafts stalls. All profits will be split equally between The Landmark Arts Centre (a Registered Charity) and Teddington Together (a nonprofit organisation) providing vital funds to enable them to continue serving the local community.
All profits for Teddington Together will go towards the costs of community events such as Teddington Christmas Lights Up.
Tickets are £30 for Saturday and £20 for Sunday, with half price tickets for children under the age of 12. There is a special early bird discount of £40 for a ticket offering full weekend access, but these are limited.
