EXCLUSIVE:TED LASSO BEGINS FILMING AGAIN IN WEST LONDON TODAY
Filming of Series Four of the award-winning Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso has started in west London today, Teddington Town can reveal.
At least four of the main cast, Jason Sudeikis, who plays Ted, Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Beard, British actor Hannah Waddingham, who plays the owner of AFC Richmond Rebecca Welton and Brett Goldstein who played Roy Kent were reported to be on set in the same studios where previous series were made.
Trucks filled with props were being unloaded and hundreds of cars belonging to crew members were parked at nearby Hayes & Yeading Football Club – where many of the football scenes were filmed in previous series.
The new film project – codenamed NANDO – was originally started in Kansas City about a month ago but is expected to last several months in London as well as moving to various locations around south west London.
According to Apple the new series will focus on the fortunes of a new AFC Richmond women’s team and several young British actors have been recruited to play in the team.
Today, bright pink signs were visible saying Loc, techs and crew cars offering signage to the actual location and a separate sign reading ‘set’ could be seen near the studios as well as a group of drivers from a transport company, who were on hand to chauffeur key members of the cast and the directors and writers.
Speculation mounted at the weekend that filming was imminent after show creator Jason was photographed at a sports bar with baseball bat in Shepherd’s Bush.
