COUNCIL SET TO REMOVE ST GEORGE’S FLAGS IN TEDDINGTON
Richmond Council said this afternoon it would be removing the St George’s flags which have mysteriously appeared in Teddington’s Broad Street.
In an exclusive statement to Teddington Town the Council stated: “Richmond Council is aware of the St George’s flags in a number of locations across the borough, including the Teddington area.
“Our teams are working to coordinate the removal of these flags in line with Richmond’s duties under the Highways Act 1980 and our policy to remove all unauthorised attachments on public street furniture.”
