AUSSIE RUGBY STARS SET UP CAMP AT THE LENSBURY

Australia’s rugby squad has moved into The Lensbury to prepare for their first match of the Autumn Internationals against Steve Borthwick’s England at Allianz Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Several team members relaxed by walking into Teddington’s High Street and enjoyed dinner at the King’s Head pub where they were given a friendly welcome by rugby loving locals.
Borthwick named his England squad for the four match series earlier today where there was, surprisingly, no place for Harlequins fly-half Marcus Smith.
He said: “We’re excited to begin our Quilter Nations Series campaign against Australia and to test ourselves against a strong, in-form side,” said Borthwick. “Australia have had four months together, so it’ll be a great challenge for us first up. We’ve worked hard with the time we’ve had, and the players can’t wait to play in front of a passionate home crowd.
“It’s another opportunity for us to take a step forward as a team.”
