SUPPORT PARK LANE STABLES IN THE BIG GIVE CHARITY CAMPAIGN
Teddington’s Park Lane Stables feature in the 2025 Big Give Christmas campaign!
It’s the UK’s biggest collaborative fundraising campaign, and this year Park Lane Stables is one of the highlighted charities.
Founder Natalie O’Rourke told Teddington Town: “If people donate to us via our Big Give Campaign page between the 2nd and 9th December then that donation will be doubled, up to our target figure of £75,000.
“Why donate: Our campaign is about helping us raise funds to get us through the winter months when the shorter days mean we can do fewer sessions, but our costs remain very high.
“To put it in perspective, our running costs are approximately around £25,000 every single month, but a lot of our costs have gone up dramatically recently. For example, the long,dry summer has led to a national hay shortage – which has seen our hay bill go up by over 40% since June.
“A small bale of bay now costs us £9 and that’s about a 5 minute snack for a hungry horse!
“This is our biggest fundraising effort for several years and will help us deliver the services our participants rely on through the winter, when their regular time with the horses and the PLS team are so important to them.
“It is ONLY possible to donate to The Big Give during the campaign week ( 2nd – 9th December) so if you can help us, please look out for reminders nearer the time or make a note on your calendar to visit our Big Give campaign page.”
