According to Dogs Today spending is set to reach £382 million nationwide, with Greater London, Scotland and the North West as the regions spending the most on canine Christmas gifts.
The findings show a clear divide across the UK, with Londoners spending an average of £31.70 on their dog, closely followed by Glaswegians at £30.30. Owners in Bath and Manchester are spending around £27.70, while dogs in Wrexham are receiving the lowest average spend at £13.10.
