NO SIGN OF WORK AT BURST WATER MAIN IN BROOM ROAD, TEDDINGTON

There was no sign of any repair work being carried out at the burst water main which has closed Broom Road at the junction of Trowlock Way in Teddington at 11am today.
Bright blue plastic barriers surrounded a four ft square hole which exposed a pipe, that local residents said had been a problem last week.
There was NO sign of workmen or any Thames Water vehicles despite a roadworks bulletin which claimed they were ‘attending a burst water main in the carriageway. “
The deep hole, which is right outside the recreation ground, will cause major disruption to traffic and school runs but an on site sign says work will be finished on 21/01.
