TeddingtonTown Local Business Spotlight – Aesthetics By Reena
Every so often, we do a local business spotlight. We specifically do these interviews with local businesses that have recently started and also support TeddingtonTown.
Aesthetics by Reena is, as it says in its name, a local facial aesthetics business that was set up and run by Dr Reena Jasani. We have asked her several questions (below) and she has taken the time to respond. We hope you enjoy the read and if you have any further questions for Reena, please don’t hesitate to contact her by clicking HERE
Q: What inspired you to start this venture?
My journey into aesthetics began with a simple realisation: I love helping people feel more confident in their own skin. Having trained as a dentist, the transition to facial injectables felt incredibly natural. The meticulous precision, the understanding of anatomy, and the focus on patient care were already second nature.
Q: Can you share a pivotal moment that shaped your path?
I spent the early years of my aesthetic career working in high-end, exclusive clinics across Harley Street, Mayfair, and the City of London. While I loved the standard of excellence in these areas, I noticed a significant gap closer to home. I wanted to take the elite techniques and premium care I had honed in Central London and make them accessible to my local community. That is how Aesthetics by Reena was born—a destination clinic bringing high-end, affordable, doctor-led care directly to Teddington, Twickenham, Richmond, and Hampton.

Q: How has your approach or vision evolved since you started?
When I first started, like many practitioners, my primary goal was to please patients by providing immediate, instant results. Today, my aim is no longer the “quick fix.” I am dedicated to skin longevity and anti-aging medicine. My goal is to provide deeply structural, restorative treatments that help you look refreshed and rejuvenated not just for a few months, but for many years ahead.
Q: What do you consider your biggest accomplishment to date?
The proudest moment of my career wasn’t just mastering a technique; it was having my philosophy validated on a national stage. Winning the award for “Best Non-Surgical Profile” at the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics was incredibly touching because it proved that you do not need to look “overdone” to be celebrated.
Alongside the industry awards, publishing my article in Aesthetics Journal UK and presenting on Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) at Excel exhibition centre at the Clinical Cosmetic Regenerative Congress remains one of my greatest accomplishments.
Q: What principles or philosophies guide your work?
As a GDC-registered dentist, my medical background dictates everything I do. The philosophy is simple: the patient always comes first, and honesty is non-negotiable. If a treatment isn’t right for you, or if I don’t believe it will harmonise with your natural anatomy, I will tell you.
Q: Are there particular habits, routines, or mindsets you credit for your success?
Resilience is absolute key. Running a clinic and striving for clinical excellence is demanding. But more importantly, I’ve learned that you cannot do everything on your own. Having the mindset to ask for help when you are stuck—whether that’s collaborating with peers or seeking expert advise on skills that you do not have (such as social media!)—is what drives success.
Q: How do you envision the impact you want to make in the long term?
I want to completely change the pathway of aesthetics. Right now, there is a trend where people are walking out of clinics with the exact same features and the exact same look. I want the industry to move far away from that. Ageing is a natural part of life, and it should be celebrated. Every single face is unique. My long-term goal is not only to treat patients and train practitioners to balance and harmonise the profile, helping people look their absolute best without changing who they are.
Q: What’s next for your business or personal brand? Are there any upcoming projects you’re excited about?
I am currently expanding my services to specifically support women going through perimenopause and menopause, focusing on treatments that target the sudden collagen loss and structural changes that happen during this time. I’m also very excited to be introducing more advanced under-eye and tear-trough treatments (Jalupro Young Eye) to our local clinics, helping the Richmond Upon Thames patient’s address tired eyes safely and beautifully.
