Finishing touches to the signage for the new branch of MOXON’S, the fishmongers replacing the famous SANDYS were being made today.
A builder was spotted hand painting the distinctive brand name on a background of dark green brickwork surround the frontage in Heath Road.
A short notice on the window says: “Coming soon! We are looking forward to joining the community.”
The owners are targetting June 30 as a grand opening date.
The local community was devastated at the shock closure of Sandy’s following the death of owner Stuart Sandys in November last year and the family it could never be the same.
Teddington Town broke the news that the high quality fishmongers had acquired the shop in April this year bringing welcome news to the local community.
