TWENTY FIVE FIVE FIRE FIGHTERS ATTEND TEDDINGTON HOUSE BLAZE

Four fire engines were called to a significant house fire in Holmesdale Road, Teddington, earlier today.
It’s understood the fire caused significant damage but no-one was hurt. Ambulances were also in attendance.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire involving a garage at a house on Holmesdale Road in Teddington.
“The garage was destroyed and half of external scaffolding and part of the loft of the detached house were damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of four calls to the fire at 0855 and sent crews from Twickenham, Kingston, Surbiton and Wimbledon fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1035.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
