FORMER SKI CHAMPION IN HOSPITAL
Former British Olympic skier and TV personality Chemmy Alcott, who lives locally in East Molesey, is in hospital after landing awkwardly from a jump into Lake Annecy in France.
Reports suggest she may have suffered a collapsed lung when she jumped from the 5-metre platform on the shores of the lake in the French Alps.
Photos showed her looking in good spirits in hospital. Chemmy, 44, who presents Ski Sunday is a big supporter of SporTedd – the local community group which raises funds for sport-themed groups.
