MAN INJURED BY STAG SUFFERED WOUNDS TO HIS CHEST

The man, who was injured in Richmond Park by a stag looking for food, suffered wounds to his chest, we can reveal. He is in his 60’s, say the police.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 18:23hrs on Saturday, 15 August to a report of a man injured by a deer in Richmond Park.
Officers attended alongside LAS and found a man, aged in his 60s, with wounds to his chest.
The man was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non life-changing or life-threatening.
The stag had to be put down because he was considered a risk to the public.
