NEW CAMERA CENTRE JOINS TEDDINGTON PHOTOGRAPHIC

Teddington Photographic in Broad Street is joining forces with the Chiswick Camera centre, it was disclosed today.
The idea is for the two businesses to be complementary in offering a full range of services to camera enthusiasts from new and second hand equipment to a wide range of repair options.
The owner of Chiswick Camera Centre, Andy Sands said: “The plan is I am subletting part of Teddington Photographic store so both Chiswick Camera Centre and Teddington will be effectively working from the same premises as two separate companies working together.
“This is temporary until the end of March 2027 with the intention of making the arrangement more permanent if it works for both parties.
“My main business is selling new and used cameras and photographic equipment and there is little crossover between Chiswick Camera Centre and Teddington Photographic.
“The intention is to complement each other creating a centre for all your photography needs in the heart of Teddington.”
His lease on the Chiswick premises is due to expire on September 18 but the actual shop will close on September 10.
“I am going to be in Chiswick quite a bit, so I can still arrange pick ups and drop offs. I can still meet people and deliver things here”.
At the moment he considers the move temporary, as he has arranged to rent premises in Teddington until the end of March, which he says are half the rent and half the rates of Chiswick.
Teddington Photographic, which has been operating since 2008 and before that was Andrews Cameras, offers a range of services from buying, selling and repairing used camera equipment, passport/ID photographs, photo printing from any device and has its own photography studio which is available to hire.
