IT IS NOT YOU! LOTTO WINNER COMES FORWARD WITH £1M TICKET
The missing Lotto millionaire living in Richmond Borough has come forward to claim their incredible £1M prize, it has been revealed.
The National Lottery launched a massive search and publicity campaign urging the lucky winner to come forward nearly two months after their lucky numbers were drawn to claim their winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased in Richmond for the Lotto draw on Wednesday 19 August and matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in Round 2 to scoop the seven-figure prize. The
winning numbers were 4, 8, 10, 17, 23, 28 and the Bonus Ball was 16.
Toby Moxham, Head of Winners’ Services at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “What a result. Someone has come forward following our appeal to claim their one-million-pound prize.
“If Ted Lasso has taught us anything, it’s the power of believing, and we believed we would unite our missing winner with their life-changing prize. Just imagine, for nearly two months someone has been walking around without realising they have been sat on a winning ticket that would change their life forever.”
