Geraldine Chew International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and also qualified breastfeeding counsellor. I am part of the team known as London Lactation Consultants.

I do home visits to mothers with babies who are having issues with breastfeeding. An initial consultation usually lasts about one and a half hours and we work on the practical aspects of feeding as well as talk about any issues or questions that you have. I see babies of all ages from just a day or so old. Every mother and baby is different so I tailor my approach to each mother’s feeding goals and their particular circumstances. Breastfeeding is a new skill to learn and many mothers benefit from a one-to-one visit at home. I have lived in Teddington for over twelve years. I have been a breastfeeding counsellor for ten years and an IBCLC for five. During this time I have been lucky enough to help mothers to breastfeed in many different settings including at West Middlesex Hospital, local breastfeeding drop-ins and Babycafes, and in their own homes.
