Following a business degree, I started my career by buying a franchise in cost management consultancy. This gave me invaluable business experience from a young age and the confidence I needed to realise my own potential. The business was a success and was sold 3 years later at which point I entered the corporate world.
My roles varied throughout my career and I worked my way up from Business Development, to running an Internal Recruitment department, finally being appointed as Head of Business Relations for a FTSE 250 Recruitment Group. Whilst on maternity leave with my second child I was offered voluntary redundancy which proved to be perfect timing. I had already been considering my next career move as I was beginning to miss running my own business again.
Starting a Lettings Agency was the perfect solution for me. I have a fascination (bordering on obsession!) with property and a real passion for working with people. Having been time and again disappointed by the service I was offered by agencies, and hearing of countless situations experiences by others, I knew I could do it better. So, I launched Rebecca Smith Property Services Ltd.
I offer a let only and a fully managed option so a landlord can be involved as little or as much as they like in the running of their property. My fee structure is simple and fair and, as I don’t have the high overheads of a high street office, offers extremely good value for money for landlords.
Exceptional customer care is my priority and so my promise is always to keep the communication open and honest throughout the whole process. I’m not interested in one-off business, I’m here to build relationships and work with landlords and tenants for many years to come. I offer the best possible service for the best possible value and that’s something I really do care about.
