DESCRIPTION:The Antonio Forcione Quartet are delighted to be invited back t
 o perform at The Exchange after performing and wowing audiences at sell ou
 t concerts all over the world. They have consistently received 5-star revi
 ews year after year at the Edinburgh Festival. This is a truly internation
 al line-up with Jenny Adejayan from Nigeria/Grenada/UK\, Jansen Santana an
 d Matheus Nova from Brazil and Antonio Forcione from Italy. Between them t
 hey have performed with some of the biggest names in both the pop and jazz
  world\, done countless tours\, charity concerts\, workshops and albums.\n
 \nThe pieces performed by the Quartet are from Forcione’s prolific compo
 sitions as well as a mixture of rearranged classics but Dave Brubeck\, The
  Police\, Marvin Gaye\, Stevie Wonder and many others. There is an imagina
 tive and joyful synthesis – a world class band with spectacular techniqu
 e and rich composition who have developed a unique\, powerful and exotic s
 ound.\nWith a unique blend of jazz\, Latin\, African\, and flamenco sounds
 \, they have captivated audiences across the globe with their passionate a
 nd innovative performances. Forcione &amp\; guitar playing has been descri
 bed as “ferocious\, rampaging\, controlled power”\; and “mesmerizing
 ”\, while Santana is a multi-instrumentalist and dedicated musician whos
 e influences stem from the music of his hometown in Salvador\, Bahia\, Bra
 zil. Jenny Adejayan is a London-born cellist of Nigerian/Grenadian descent
  who has collaborated with numerous artists over the years from Sir Tom Jo
 nes and Courtney Pine to Nitin Sawhney and Emil Sande. Together\, the Anto
 nio Forcione Quartet delivers a touch of magic and a celebration of unexpe
