 te first started working with Juliet\, she immediately saw the potential f
 or a deep and fruitful collaboration\, and the pair soon started meeting a
 nd writing regularly together.\n\nAYRA is the result – a unique female 
 fronted project purveying heartfelt original material drenched in the heri
 tage of soul\, spiced with the rhythms of funk and R&amp\;B\, always deliv
 ered straight from the heart.\n\nTogether they’ve assembled a band of so
 me of the very best in the business. UK session legend Yolanda Charles\, 
 veteran of the bands of Hans Zimmer and Paul Weller among many others\, wa
 s the natural choice on bass\, and her regular drum partner Nicolas Py s
 upplied the necessary deep\, creative groove making. To round out the ense
 mble\, Janette called on the unique talents of Shanti on cello\, trumpet
  and percussion and the latest addition to the project is Bex Gold on ad
 ditional vocals.\n\nAYRA is a powerhouse of deep\, soulful music that amp
