A little artistic experience of some sort would be useful but is not essential. Enthusiasm and a willingness to hav e a go in a supportive environment are more important.\n\n \;\n\nStill life is the theme of this course\, but the approaches explored could be a pplied to a variety of subjects. We will start with traditional observatio nal skills\, before experimenting with colour\, composition and mark-makin g. Inspiration will be taken from different artists and art movements incl uding Matisse\, Morandi\, Pointillism and Cubism.\n\n \;\n\nThis cours e would suit people who enjoy creatively experimenting with different mate rials and ways of looking.
