Dog First Aid
This is an online event.
I am running a First Aid for Dogs online course on zoom from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 22nd November and you are very warmly invited.
The course will empower attendees to know how to react in an emergency situation before professional veterinary help.
The tutor is from Dog First Aid, who are a network of veterinary professionals and trainers with a shared vision – to give everyone with a dog in their life the skills and confidence to be able to act in an emergency. Since 2013 thousands of people have been trained to provide the emergency care their dogs need before getting to a vet. In many cases this has saved the dog’s life. The course is CPD accredited, giving you an assurance of quality.
This half day course has been developed with members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and covers:
* The foundations
* What to look for in an emergency
* How to take your dog’s vitals – pulse, breathing rate
and temperature
* CPR
* Seizures
* Bleeding
* Canine shock
* Gastric dilatation volvulus
* Burns & scalds
* Toxic ingestion
* Heat stroke
* Choking
On completion of the course, you will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
Dog Owners – have peace of mind that you could provide the very best course of action to your furry friend in an unfortunate emergency.
Dog Care Professionals – give your customers the confidence that their beloved furry family member will receive the very best First Class care from your services.
