Comedy lovers are in for a treat with this weekend-long series of comedy double bills of Edinburgh preview shows at The Anglers, Teddington.

DARREN WALSH – S’PUN
Fresh from winning Dave’s Joke of the Fringe last year, and re-telling it dozens of times, Darren Walsh set to work on coming up with a completely new set of jokes for 2016. S’PUN is the follow-up to 2015’s five-star Edinburgh show PUNDERBOLT. Darren combines animations, videos, sound effects, drawings, ad-libbing and surreal nonsense.

Having authored his own book ‘Cheep Laughs’ which encompasses four misspent years of scribbling and doodling and including over 1000 jokes, Darren’s stand up career has gone from strength to strength. The UK’s first Pun Champion debuted his hour at the Edinburgh Festival 2015 which saw him win Dave’s Joke of the Fringe as well as listed in the top joke round ups of The Guardian, The Mirror, The Telegraph and The Independent . Darren also appeared on BBC Presents: Best Of The Edinburgh Festival.
