Come along to The Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington to try out the new Family Trail which has just been launched and explore the wonderful 19th century historic building and what it has to offer.

The trail is fun and easy to do and is open to all ages from 0-100, all you need is your detective’s hat and your imagination! You will be given an 8-point questionnaire which will take you on a tour to discover fun facts, historical points of interest and the centre’s lesser-known quirks.

Highlights of the trail include discovering architectural features of the building, which used to be St Alban’s church and was known as the Cathedral of the Thames Valley, spotting the huge spider sculpture, now affectionately known as ‘Sidney the Spider’ and busting moves of the stage where many famous artists have performed including the Norwegian pop group ‘a-ha’ who filmed the video for their UK No. 1 hit there “The Sun Always Shines on TV”, when the building was derelict in the 1980s.

The trail is free, open to all during normal opening hours with no need to book. For more information www.landmarkartscentre.org or 020 8977 7558.
