DESCRIPTION:Landmark Arts Centre\, Ferry Road\, Teddington\, TW11 9NN\n\nSh
 adow puppet making workshop for 5-11 year olds and their grown ups. This f
 un and educational course is inspired by Nordic Mythology\, and in particu
 lar by the book ‘Gospel of Loki’ by Joanne Harris.\n\nWe will focus on
  choosing some characters from the book and turning them into shadow theat
 re puppets. The children will\, with the help of their parents or carers\,
  learn how to make a shadow puppet with movable joints and how to create a
  shadow puppet theatre by using simple screen and light. By the end of the
  course the participants will be able to manipulate their finished puppet\
 , create a short improvisation on the screen while learning few tricks abo
 ut puppets’ interaction and use of light. They will have a clear idea ho
 w to make simple screen at home too\, and have some more fun with the pupp
