DESCRIPTION:For the first time\, 21 members of London Potters\, the Society
  funded 30 years ago to promote the knowledge and appreciation of Studio C
 eramics\, will be showing at the Normansfield Theatre\, during the weekend
  of March 4-5\, 2017.\n\nThe work of these individual designer-makers refl
 ects the variety of forms and functions that clay inspires and enables\; f
 rom functional and everyday objects to collectors’ items\, each piece be
 ars the imprint of the maker\; each piece is original and a pleasure to ho
 ld\, to use or to treasure.\n\nThe Normansfield Theatre is a Grade 2* list
 ed Victorian Theatre in Teddington which is used primarily by drama groups
  and concerts - a welcoming and apt historical setting for\nthe ancient an
 d enduring craft of working with clay.\n\nThis event has been made possibl
 e by the support of London Potters and the collaboration of Langdon Down C
 entre. The proceeds from table-hire and the coffee shop which is open both
  days\, will go to the Down's Syndrome Association\n\nADMISSION: FREE\n\n
