Normally\, Bushy House can only be viewed from t he beautiful Bushy Park\, but this day offers visitors the chance to glimp se inside the house\, which dates back to the 1660s.\n\nBushy House was th e residence of William\, Duke of Clarence (William IV) and his mistress Do ra Jordan from 1797\, and was offered to the Royal Society by Queen Victor ia in 1900 as a location to establish NPL.\n\nVisitors will have chance to see the rooms and gardens of Bushy House\, including historic photos and artefacts\, and the descendant of Newton's apple tree.\n\nThe opening of B ushy House is part of the Open House London weekend\, London's largest ann ual festival of architecture and design. Open House London seeks to open L ondon's buildings to the public.\n\nDoors will be open from 10 am to 5 pm.
