THE MERCY SEAT
by Neil LaBute

9/11 – a chance to die and love again
9/11 and dust is everywhere. Ben sits alone in the New York apartment of his mistress, his ringing cell phone unanswered. Does he reassure his frantic wife that he’s still alive? Should he play “dead” and start a new life elsewhere with his mistress? Share their dilemma in this hard hitting play of two people as fractious as any couple seen since “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”.
Warning: This play contains explicit sexual references
