 village in Malawi. She is a widow with 7 children to look after and used t
 o walk 10km every day to the nearest town to sell firewood to just feed he
 r family.\nHowever today\, thanks to a loan\, training and support from Mi
 croLoan\, Marianne was able to start her own business. She now runs a tea 
 shop in the village. The increase in household income means her children a
