Rebekah Taylor is a professional photographer based in Teddington. She has had a keen interest in all things photography, art and design-oriented since she was young. Rebekah studied Industrial Model Making and Design at college and went on to work at a special effects company, sculpting and making models for TV adverts and films (BBC2 idents, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and numerous TV adverts).
Working to the camera on set and in the studio, her keen eye for detail, colour and framing proved invaluable, and it was a natural progression for her to pursue a career in photography.
Rebekah started her career in photography by creating fine art, which has been sold in the UK and US and has been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Her commercial work has seen her travel the globe photographing events, roadshows, portraits and magazine covers for local and multi-national businesses.
She really enjoys working with local businesses, as it affords her the opportunity to use her knowledge and passion for the area to deliver the very best photographs, whatever the requirements.
Her work has taken her to some interesting events – such as touring Europe with a videogame character, photographing guest speakers at BAFTA, shooting a magazine cover with a Madonna tribute act and taking video game development shots with professional tennis players.
