The Park Hotel, Teddington

Anticipation and excitement are rampant in Teddington right now as residents, local business owners and even those from much further afield have been eagerly awaiting the day that the new look is revealed.

Most of us have been intently following the process of transformation from tired hotel and bar space to a place of real splendour via their social media – some of us even resorting to taking sneaky peeks through the enormous windows. But fear not, the wait is almost over.

The team at the Park are finally flinging open the doors to us this Friday 15th March at 7pm and everyone is most welcome.

You’re sure to be delighted with the way that the previously vast, open space has been utilised to create cosy nooks with a much more intimate feel – whilst still remaining true to the building’s original features. Plush fabrics, premium glassware, fat cushions & an abundance of fabulous artwork (including 2 pieces by talented local artist Nadia Day) come together beautifully to produce an elegant look, with just a touch of whimsy.

Highlights include their mouth watering menu inspired by the finest foods from the land & sea; always with a strong focus on seasonal British produce that is at it’s best right now. Head Chef Toby Leigh has worked with some of the biggest names in the biz & we are super keen to see how his experience and innovation can add a real twist of elegance to some classic dishes.

Their incredible, hand crafted bar is impossibly generous; stacked staggeringly high with 22 different gins, 20 whiskeys, and an extensive wine list, including an exclusive sparkling Provence rosé that we are looking forward to tasting as soon as possible!

Along with an innovative cocktail menu which gleans inspiration from the kitchen gardens at Hampton Court Palace, you’ll find a bountiful selection of 25 different draught, cask, canned & bottled beers & ales. The latter varies widely from the cool, craft Neck Oil IPA from London’s Beavertown Brewery, to the deliciously session-able Five Points XPA, not forgetting the obligatory & much revered Young’s Bitter & Special.

Ok, we are sold. Race you to the bar…. last one there buys the round!
