Teddington trolleybus (1931)
Footage has been unearthed from 1931 that shows the first day that the Twickenham to Teddington by trolleybus started operation.

Trolley buses were a later breed of tram that although powered from overhead electric cables, didn’t run on tracks and so had more freedom of movement.
Fantastic…i love watching this movie…great to see this history in a town that we have been here for 20 years…also had and have a business on Broad Street…now moved to High Street.
