Enjoy a fine tipple with the Teddington Wine Society
If you enjoy wine and wish to enjoy more diverse and interesting examples then you may want to join the tastings that the Teddington Wine Society holds each month.
Hosted by experienced wine presenter Tim Syrad, each event attracts a wide spectrum of ages and knowledge levels from complete novice to experienced taster – many attendees have little or no formal knowledge of wine but certainly enthusiasm to learn. The atmosphere is geared towards an informal and relaxed environment where members can appreciate and expand their knowledge of wines.
Most tastings concentrate on between six and ten wines covering a particular selection of subjects which could include different regions, grapes, old vs new world etc. The top wine each month is usually in the £35 – £60 price bracket.
Each session is hosted at the Landmark Arts Centre and costs £25-£30 per person which includes the tasting wines, tutoring and buffet with wine afterwards.
