High Street Update

Sadly there is more bad news on the restaurant front – in additional to Noel closing down, next door Sorrento has followed suit and another empty premises joins a growing number on the high street.

Trattoria Sorrento had been serving customers from this location since 1972 and hosted many memorable evenings of entertainment over the years.

Local companies who need help with their mobile communication needs have company based here in Teddington that they can turn to for a personal comprehensive service.

Communicate Mobile Ltd has been trading from Teddington for 6 years now at Churcham House in Bridgeman Road TW11 9AJ.

The company is non-retail, so doesn’t have a showroom for walk-in purchases. Instead they primarily deal with business / SME customers so it’s not the place for callers looking for instant replacement chargers, etc.

Their product lines include Blackberry & mobile phone business plans, internet vehicle tracking systems, all two-way radio equipment for retail, schools, security and radio accessories (including Airwave earpieces for any local police.)

Current local customers include Bentalls, Teddington School, Squires Garden Centres and the Lensbury Club.

If you need any assistance with your office communications needs, you can contact them on 08456 120007 or info@communicatemobile.com to arrange a visit.

Alternatively if you’re a residential customer Net.Com has closed and is now reborn as The Repair Centre in a more central location – now open for business on the roundabout/bridge at the heart of Teddington.

Their offering has now expanded so as well as contract and pay-as-you-go phones and accessories, they are an authorised Nokia and Samsung service centre. They can deal with out of warranty repairs to your handset and they certainly know their way around an iPhone.

Their knowledge doesn’t just stop at mobile phones, they also can help you out with MAC/PC repair, fault-finding as well as general health-checks by their very savvy computer repair team.

Was sad to see Net.com close as had always been really impressed. So was really pleased to be contacted by the guy who did the sales. He has relocated to an office and will be contacting customers soon, as he did me!
Seems that it is only the repairs department of Net.com that have set up The Repair Station and they are not linked in any way.
