Playwam Sponsored Toddle Waddle!
On Monday 4 April 2011, Playwam Pre School, Langham Road, Teddington held a Toddle Waddle in the Woodland Gardens, Bushy Park to help raise awareness of Meningitis and funds for the Meningitis Trust.
Over 30 children from Playwam, recently awarded an Oustanding Ofsted rating and their parents took part in the sponsored event. The Toddle Waddle is one of the Meningitis Trust’s annual fundraising events, which has raised over £2.8 million to date.
Playwam, also held an Easter Egg Hunt and picnic for children and parents to finish off the Waddle. As well as a fun day out for the little ones, it is also a nice introduction to the idea of charity and helping others.
