Local businesses collaborate for Hampton Court Flower Show

NewsThree local independent businesses, already working together for the Totally Locally Teddington campaign have combined forces to exhibit at this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.

Teddington florist, Jo Butler, will be exhibiting in the Roses & Floristry Marquee at this year’s celebration of all things flora for her second year. When Jo saw the design theme for the floristry displays at the show this year of Vintage 50’s focusing on quintessentially English ideas, she immediately wanted to collaborate with another local business, Mela Mela Vintage especially as their knowledge of the era, design ideas, and enthusiasm for the theme would be invaluable.

The design of the stand will be vintage 50’s English garden party, with Mela Mela creating a scene to include genuine vintage dresses and accessories from their boutique, while Jo Butler recreates the same in flowers. There will be mannequins on the stand showing off the dresses. Another Totally Locally Teddington business, Elements Salon, will add the vintage hair needed for the mannequins on the stand.

Local illustrator Rachel Morris also created a handy pocket-sized map to also tempt visitors from the show to Teddington!
