Children’s Hospice to host annual Santa cycle ride to Hampton

After the success of the previous three cycle rides, the Shooting Stars Chase Children’s Hospice will run the fourth annual Christmas cycle ride between Richmond and Hampton on December 3rd.

The 19 mile round trip will start in Richmond before delivering presents to children in the hospice before returning back to their starting point.

The ride is free to enter providing you arrive in a Santa suit along with a gift for one of the children in the hospice.

The Teddington community are encouraged to get into the Christmas spirit by decorating their bikes before embarking on the two and a half hour cycle.

Past cycles have been known to deliver over 100 presents as well as raising £1300 for the hospice with the charity looking to top the amazing efforts this year.

The cycle will commence at Whole Foods Richmond at 8:30am and will finish there after visiting the hospice where there will be food and drink served along with prizes being given for ‘Best Santa Outfit’ and ‘Best Decorated Bike’.

If you can not make the ride but would still like to donate then you can visit the just giving page at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/santacharitycycle.
