Motorbike and lorry crash in Teddington sends man to hospital
A collision between a motorbike and lorry on Stanley Road causing a man to be sent to hospital.
The collision occurred just before 10am this morning.
Witnesses have stated that they saw ‘blood on the road’ and that the motorbike was crumpled.
A spokeswoman for the Met Police said: “Police were called at 9.53am on Friday, November 24 to reports of a lorry in collision with a motorbike.
“A 34-year-old man was taken to a south London hospital for treatment – his injuries are not life threatening or life changing.”
There were no injuries to the lorry driver and no arrests have been made.
Teddington police have since tweeted that the motorcyclist was ‘OK’.
Stanley Road, which was closed for two hours following the collision, has been re-opened.
