Richmond Volunteer Fair to take place on 7th June

Whatever your motivation, the annual Richmond Volunteer Fair is one of the best ways to kick-start good intentions into well-placed practical action.

This year’s Fair is set to showcase over 40 local charities and not for profit organisations, all there to help people find the role that best fits their interests, lifestyle and availability. It’s a great chance for individuals to get a taste of some of the wide-ranging and varied support that volunteers provide and plant some inspiration on how to engage and get involved within the community.

For example, you could be a befriender, a volunteer driver or an events and marketing assistant.

At the Fair, you can browse information, talk to staff and current volunteers and set yourself on the path to a rewarding new role in a range of areas, such as health and wellbeing, young people, environment, advice, older people and families.

It’s free to visit and takes place on Thursday 7 June, from 2pm to 6pm, at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult and Community College (RHACC), Parkshot, Richmond. For more information and to book free tickets, visit the Richmond Volunteer Fair 2018 Eventbrite page.

This event is organised by Richmond CVS, who run the Community Connections Richmond volunteer service, in partnership with RHACC.
