London’s Most Regal Ice Rink Returns to Hampton Court Palace

Tickets are now on sale for the picturesque open-air rink, offering you the chance to celebrate the festive season in majestic style, surrounded by centuries of royal history.

Perfect for all ages and levels of ability – from absolute beginners to experts – the Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink welcomes visitors to the Tudor Palace. The venue boasts spectacular Thames-side views and offers visitors an enchanting ambience for the festive season, especially after dusk when the Palace’s iconic facade lights up.

The Ice Rink Café & Bar – featuring a special children’s menu – are great places for both skaters and spectators to sample the delicious winter menu, as well as a selection of warming and alcoholic beverages from The Pie Man.

A popular event which offers exclusive discounted prices for families, advanced booking is recommended to best plan your day at this famous royal residence.

With 500 years of history to discover inside the palace, you can also purchase tickets to explore Hampton Court’s spectacular State Apartments, 65 acres of formal gardens, the infamous Haunted Gallery and even a world-famous maze. Celebrating Christmas traditions from the past and present, from 1 December – 6 January visitors will be able to see the palace through the eyes of its Edwardian grace-and-favour residents and enjoy live cookery demonstrations in Henry VIII’s atmospheric Kitchens.

The Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink season runs from 23 November 2018 until 6 January 2019. The rink is open every day — except Christmas Day — from 11am to 9pm, and from 10am on weekends. From 17 December, the rink will be open every day from 10am.
