Hampton School Is Making PPE Equipment For NHS
Hampton school has been contributing to the fight against corona virus by making PPE equipment for the local NHS.
The NHS are in desperate need for more equipment to help against the virus. In response to this the schools design and engineering department quickly produced face shields that were quick to make using laser cutting equipment.
The team has managed to create 100 units a day, however, they wish to increase this to 150 units.
The school has already supplied equipment for the Richmond and Hounslow NHS Trust Community Nursing Team, NHS units in Surrey and GP surgeries in Stockwell.
