How Are The Bus Strikes Going To Affect You

There are multiple planned bus strikes on Wednesday 17, Wednesday 24 and Wednesday 31 March.

If the strikes go ahead, this will affect around 80 bus services, including some school and night routes, across west, southwest and northwest London and parts of Surrey and Hertfordshire.

Three bus companies are affected by the proposed strikes:

  • London Sovereign (striking Wednesday 17 March)
  • London United (striking Wednesday 17, Wednesday 24 and Wednesday 31 March – most of the affected routes)
  • Quality Line (striking Wednesday 17, Wednesday 24 and Wednesday 31 March)

Buses run by other operators will run as normal.

Services will return to normal from 06:00 on Thursday 18 March, Thursday 24 March and Thursday 1 Apri.l

These areas are most impacted by London Sovereign strikes (on Wednesday 17 March):

  • Harrow
  • Edgware
  • Wembley

These areas are most affected by London United and Quality Line strikes (on Wednesday 17, Wednesday 24 and Wednesday 31 March):

  • White City/Shepherds Bush
  • Acton
  • Heathrow
  • Hounslow
  • Kingston
  • Richmond
  • Surbiton
  • Wimbledon
  • Sutton
