THE LANDMARK LAUNCHES ITS ONLINE CONTEMPORARY TEXTILES FAIR THIS WEEK LONDON

16 March 2021: Teddington’s Landmark Arts Centre’s annual Contemporary Textiles Fair will be launching online this week, instead of the traditional fair at the centre. The event is taking place from 19-28 March, featuring an online shop selling artworks and hand-crafted textiles from over 30 exhibitors and a programme of online talks, workshops, & demos.

Arts Centre Manager, Lesley Bossine, commented: “After running our Festive Emporium online in December we were determined to replicate its success and take the Contemporary Textile Fair online too. It’s been an
incredibly tough year for the whole of the arts industry, from artists through to performers, so we’re delighted that we can keep the event running as a platform to support the makers and artists until we can, hopefully, return to holding the fair in the flesh next year.”

As well as the online shop, the fair will feature many interactive events and daily live demos, which can be accessed via https://www.facebook.com/contemporarytextilesfairlandmarkarts
as well as a selection of online textile workshops to book onto. The programme of events can be found at https://landmark-arts-centre.myshopwired.co.uk/talks
