Hear from a wellbeing coach this Stress Awareness Month

Listen to the twelve-minute Talk Richmond episode for a realistic approach to wellbeing and stress management by clicking here or by searching for Talk Richmond on your podcast app.

The guest on this week’s podcast episode is Jason Moore – a local advocate, speaker and trainer for wellbeing who is also the Governor for Wellbeing at the Queen’s School, Kew.

He joins Talk Richmond to explain what is meant by wellbeing and how to cope with and accept stress. Jason advises that the first thing to do when feeling stressed is to acknowledge and accept those feelings. This can then lead to taking some proactive steps to deal with stress, as listed below.

Tips on dealing with stress include:

  • Talking to someone
  • Being active
  • Planning ahead
  • Challenging unhelpful thoughts
  • Splitting up big tasks
  • Allowing yourself some positivity
