Man charged following stranger rape in Richmond car park
Following an investigation by the South West Public Protection Unit, police have charged a man in relation to an alleged rape in a Richmond car park.
On Monday, 26 April, Agnelo Cardoso, 33 of Lampton, Hounslow was charged with one count of rape and remanded in custody.
He is due to appear before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 27 April.
On Sunday, 25 April at 15:22, police were called to a woman who stated that she had been raped in the car park on Paradise Road.
The woman is currently being supported by specialist officers.
