Upcoming Events at Landmark Arts Centre

This Autumn, Landmark Arts Centre will be hosting live events, exhibitions, and classes.

The historic building is at the heart of Teddington, and has proudly served as a cultural hub for years. 

This is what is coming up this autumn:

Autumn Art Fair

Landmark Arts Centre are once again holding their Autumn Art Fair in the large main hall – over 65 exhibitors of a wonderful range of art, and the cafe will be open while the exhibition is running. 

The art fair will be opening at 1pm on Friday 5th of October. Some changes have been made to ensure the safety of all attendees. Make sure to come down, have a browse of the artwork and have a cuppa! 

The Comedy Network

A new monthly stand-up night featuring two top comics + MC.

September’s headliner is Ahir Shah (Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo, and The Mash Report) supported by Garrick Millerick (Conan) and Annie McGrath (Finalist, Funny Women Awards)

Doors open at 7.15pm, Thursday 16th Sept. 

Lunchtime Book Club 

Hosted by staff from Waterstones, these friendly sessions are the perfect way to meet like-minded readers and discover exciting new reads. Exploring short stories, novels, non-fiction, poetry, and bestsellers.

This book club is on every Friday, at 1pm. 

Creative Embroidery 

This course is open to everybody who would like to learn the techniques of creative hand embroidery. You do not need to be able to draw to enjoy this course.

Techniques of transferring images onto different textiles will be shown and you will learn a variety of styles for hand embroidery. The design element of the course will encourage you to explore images for stitch inspiration from your own photographs, found images or from drawings. You will be able to produce attractive hand embroidered textile images with simple designs that can be framed and presented in decorative ways.

This course starts on the 1st Nov and will last for 6 weeks. Prices can be found here

Adult Evening Photography 

Take Great Photos! An introduction to photography for people who want to make the most of their camera and are looking for inspiration and progress in their photography.

This course helps you move beyond the camera’s auto settings and explore new creative possibilities. Looking at key principles of photography, including composition, camera lenses, landscape photography and portraiture, as well as getting to grips with essential creative controls and settings on the camera.

A highly practical course suitable for both beginners and for photography enthusiasts looking for a comprehensive refresher course.

This course starts on the 5th Oct and will last for 8 weeks. Prices can be found here
