WHAT’S GOING ON WITH THE R68 BUS?
Many local bus passengers in Teddington have been left bewildered by the revised route of the R68, which is no longer going to Richmond and Kew Retail Park.
Instead the route from Hampton Court ends in York Street, Twickenham where passengers can switch to the R70 to continue their journey.
The traditional route was withdrawn on September 9 and is unlikely to be restored until next year because of extensive roadworks in the Manor Circus area of Richmond which has triggered massive traffic jams.
So the primary locations for the popular route are Hampton Court Station (Hampton Court Way, forecourt) Hampton Church, Hampton High Street, Teddington High Street, Strawberry Vale and York Street, Twickenham
