TOP LOCAL REF LANDS RUGBY WORLD CUP FINAL
Top RFU referee Wayne Barnes, who lives in Twickenham and is a regular SporTedd guest, will be the man in the middle for the Rugby World Cup Final, it was confirmed tonight.
Wayne, who lives with his wife Polly locally, will referee the competition final next Saturday night between World Champions South Africa, who beat England and the New Zealand All Blacks in Paris.
The assignment will be the highlight of Wayne’s fantastic career as he has established a first class reputation amongst players and world teams for the quality and fairness of his refereeing.
