Rob Brydon’s show Work in Progress at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington next month made history by selling out in TWO MINUTES.
Hundreds of local fans of the TV star, writer and presenter of Would I Lie To You? were left disappointed as the website was bombarded at 10am yesterday morning (fri)
The massive interest prompted a message from the Landmark to post a message on social media saying: “Join the waiting list – for news on extra dates.”
The messaged added: “Sorry folks! Tickets for Rob Brydon sold out in seconds. “It is not known whether Brydon’s busy schedule will allow extra dates at the Landmark.
Brydon, who first became well-known through his role with James Corden in Gavin & Stacey, and most recently had a cameo role in the box office blockbuster Barbie, lives locally and is a big supporter of local causes including Park Lane Stables and the Landmark itself.
