HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH FC HONOUR THE FALLEN

 

 

 

Hampton & Richmond Football Club will be playing at home this Remembrance weekend, against Maidstone United.

As part of the Remembrance commemorations, a two minutes silence will be observed prior to kick-off, in conjunction with a reading of ‘The Ode of Remembrance’ and a rendition of the Last Post.

Both sets of players will gather around the centre circle during this ceremony. A wreath will also be laid by a member of the Hampton & Richmond youth.

Upon entry to Beveree Stadium, fans will also be greeted by local cadets selling poppies, to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

Hampton & Richmond Football Club have also partnered up with ‘Tickets for Troops’, to offer free tickets to this weekend’s game for members of the armed forces community.
