TEDDINGTON CAMPAIGNING COUNCILLOR DIES
Teddington Town is sad to announce the death of long-serving local Lib Dem Councillor, Martin Elengorn – a familiar and friendly figure around the area.
Fellow Cllr.James Chard, said: “Very sad to learn of the death of Cllr Martin Elengorn.
“Martin will be greatly missed by the many residents he helped in Teddington and beyond, as well as by officers and councillors he worked with over 40 years on the Council.
“A kind, witty, and hugely knowledgeable man.”
Fellow Lib Dem councillor Robin Brown, said: “Such a shock and sad news for all who knew Martin, which was many people in Teddington.
“A wise and compassionate councillor dedicated to improving our area and protecting and enhancing the environment.
“Always ready to entertain and educate, a colleague who will be greatly missed.”
