How the upgraded stables will look next year

Work has finally started on the refurbishment of Park Lane Stables in Teddington.

Scaffolding can now be seen covering the entire frontage of the old stables and signs identify both the architects, Architecture WK and the builders Compact Project Ltd.

The new buildings which are being funded by the £1.3 raised by supporters of the stables, includes a new reception area, new stables as well as a therapy room as part of the Riding for the Disabled Association charity.

It is hoped that the work will be completed in March next year. The stables have been based temporarily at Manor Farm in Ham.
